Mobile Access & Building Controls

MOBILE ACCESS & BUILDING INTERACTION, UNIFIED IN ONE EXPERIENCE

IBSS unifies mobile access and building controls into a single digital experience. Secure access credentials reside on the user’s mobile device, replacing physical cards with a more secure and convenient alternative. Building controls, including lighting, temperature, and blinds, can be adjusted through mobile devices or in-room tablets, creating an intuitive way to interact with the building while maintaining centralized control.

What You Can Do?

Mobile Security Credentials.

SECURE ACCESS, MANAGED WITHOUT PHYSICAL CARDS

IBSS provides mobile security credentials for access to buildings and secure areas, removing the risks of lost, shared, or cloned cards. Credentials are protected within the mobile app and require device authentication, such as biometrics, before use. Access permissions are managed centrally for consistent, secure entry.

Mobile Building Controls.

SPACE CONTROL, ENABLED THROUGH MOBILE INTERACTION

Using the IBSS mobile app, occupants scan a QR code in a room to access controls for that space. Lighting, blinds, windows, and temperature can be adjusted directly from the phone, based on room permissions. Controls are contextual, simple, and available exactly where needed.

Workspace Selection by Comfort Preferences.

SPACE SELECTION, ALIGNED WITH USER PREFERENCES

IBSS helps users find spaces based on preferences such as temperature, noise level, or comfort attributes. Instead of trial and error, employees can locate spaces that suit requirements before or during the working day. This improves comfort, productivity, and space utilization.

In-Room Tablet Controls.

ROOM-BASED CONTROLS, CONSISTENTLY DELIVERED ACROSS SPACES

IBSS also provides building controls through in-room tablet applications. Occupants can adjust lighting, temperature, blinds, and other settings directly from the room interface. This ensures a consistent control experience across shared and private spaces, while maintaining central oversight.

Mobile Access Credentials, Integrated with IBSS.

SECURE MOBILE ACCESS, POWERED BY LEADING TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS

IBSS integrates with mobile access credential technologies from HID, Gallagher, Salto, and Tapkey, enabling secure mobile access across existing access control systems. Credentials are stored securely on the mobile device and protected by biometric authentication, reducing reliance on physical cards while maintaining enterprise-grade security.

Digitised Room Controls.

DIGITAL ROOM CONTROLS, DELIVERED THROUGH CONSISTENT INTERFACES

IBSS digitises room controls to provide a consistent, digital interface for interacting with the built environment. Lighting, blinds, windows, and temperature controls are accessed through unified interfaces rather than separate physical panels and switches. This approach reduces wall clutter, standardises user interaction across spaces, and allows control configurations to be defined and updated centrally.

In-Room Control Experience.

IN-ROOM CONTROLS, ENABLED THROUGH SHARED INTERFACES

IBSS extends digital room controls to in-room tablet applications, providing a dedicated interface for shared spaces such as meeting rooms. Occupants can adjust lighting, temperature, blinds, and other settings directly from the tablet, without relying on personal devices. Tablet-based controls support a consistent experience across shared environments while enabling facilities teams to centrally manage and standardise control behaviour.
