Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy: Portfolio The Department for BEIS within the UK Government have begun a journey with ICONICS that has allowed them to build a scalable, Azure cloud-based solution that pulls together a variety of disparate property-based data sources and systems; think everything from lease agreements to meter readings across 180 buildings. BEIS can now see and prioritise the most underutilised buildings across their entire estate based on real-time data. Microsoft Headquarters: Campus A small, covert team of engineers at Microsoft cast aside suggestions that the company spend US$60 million to turn its 500-acre headquarters into a smart campus to achieve energy savings and other efficiency gains. Instead, applying an “Internet of Things meets Big Data” approach, the team invented a data-driven software solution based upon ICONICS COTS software that is slashing the cost of operating the campus’ 125 buildings saving Microsoft millions of dollars. CHP Sites - E.ON E.ON embarked on a project with ICONICS, delivered by Cougar Automation Ltd (a certified Gold partner of ICONICS), to allow E.ON to visualise and control its regional Energy Centres in one front-end, 64-bit solution from its brand new central control room in the heart of London. Terminal 5 - Heathrow Airport At its opening, the T5 Terminal at the London Heathrow airport included over 50 different systems, producing a massive tag count of over 3 million, handled easily due to the robust nature of ICONICS HMI/SCADA software. University of Bristol: Campus The University of Bristol is one of the top ranking universities in the UK composed of 25 academic schools. Wanting to integrate the campus buildings to provide a secure, future-proof centralised building management solution, the university turned to Cougar Automation Ltd. and ICONICS’ GENESIS64™. Schiphol Airport Schiphol Airport selected ICONICS for their Building Management software to run on over 30 PLCs, while monitoring over 300,000 tags. University of Virginia Founded in 1819 by Thomas Jefferson, the University of Virginia is made up of 11 schools in Charlottesville, VA, plus the College at Wise, spread out in over 500 buildings or facilities within 1,606 acres. The University offers bachelor’s, master’s, educational specialist, first-professional degrees (law and medicine), and doctoral degrees in a growing variety fields. The University of Virginia was named as the No. 2 best public university in the 2014 edition of the U.S. News and World Report. Town of Arlington/Peirce School The Peirce School is a public elementary school located in the town of Arlington, MA. The school is named after Captain Solomon Peirce, who served in the Revolutionary War. The original school building was built in 1924 and demolished in 2001. The current school facilities were built in 2003. City of Enid The City of Enid, Oklahoma, located 70 miles north of Oklahoma City, future-proofed their water operations by upgrading to 64-bit technology with GENESIS64™. The city’s water management services include production, distribution and reclamation.

Usage Data: includes details of your use of any of our Apps or the Services including, but not limited to, traffic data and other communication data and the resources that you access. Location Data: includes your current location disclosed by GPS technology and/or the room/space you are currently occupying in the Building. Communications Data: your preferences regarding how we communicate with you. We may also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific App feature. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy policy. We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences. How is your personal data collected? We will collect and process the following data about you: Information you provide. This is information (including Identity, Profile and Booking, Contact and Communications Data) you consent to giving us about you by filling in forms on the App and/or in connection with the Services, or by corresponding with us or by interacting with the App or Services (including making bookings and checking in and out of workspaces). It includes information you provide when you register to use the App or Services, download or register an App, subscribe to any of the Services, search for an App or Service and when you report a problem with an App or the Services. If you contact us, we will keep a record of that correspondence. As a visitor to a Building, you may provide your personal data to the person using the App for input to the App. Information we collect about you and your device. Each time you use the Services or one of our Apps we will automatically collect personal data including Device and Usage Data. We collect this data using local caching within the Apps, which is automatically cleared when the App is removed or can be manually cleared in the “User Preferences” menu. Location Data. If you consent, we also use GPS technology to determine your current location. Some of our location-enabled Services require your personal data for the feature to work. If you wish to use the particular feature, you will be asked to consent to your data being used for this purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time by disabling Location Data in your settings. You may elect to share your Location Data based on your bookings with third parties you nominate via the App. This is entirely optional. How we use your personal data We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to do so. Most commonly we will use your personal data in the following circumstances: Where you have consented before the processing. Consent means processing your personal data where you have signified your agreement by a statement or clear opt-in to processing for a specific purpose. Consent will only be valid if it is a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of what you want. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Where we need to perform a contract we are about to enter or have entered with you. Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of the Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We will collect and store personal data on the Device you are using application data caches and browser web storage (including HTML5). We use local caching within the Apps, which is automatically cleared when the App is removed or can be manually cleared in the “User Preferences” menu. The IBSS web application uses sessionStorage for everything in flight but that is cleared at the end of the session (e.g. when the browser is closed). In addition, localStorage is used for theme (light or dark) and last used section/page of the App. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator when we are legally required to do so. Data retention Details of retention periods for different aspects of your personal data are available in our retention policy which you can request by contacting us. In some circumstances you can ask us to delete your data: see Your legal rights below for further information. In some circumstances we will anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you. Your legal rights Under certain circumstances you have the following rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data as follows: Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a data subject access request).
